Excelsior Motorsports
Good afternoon everybody. I have a 2010 ss 6 speed. I currently just have an intake and exhaust. I had planned on getting headers, a cam job, and a tune.
Live near the san diego area and came across EXCELSIOR motorsports online, and i have been emailing a guy named Kushan. I am almost ready to pull the trigger, but can anyone recomend this shop or is this place somewhere i should stay away from? Ive seen mixed reviews online and i was just wondering if anyone on the forum had any personal experience w this shop? |

Never heard of them, most of the San Diego people use Cunningham Motorsports. Don't pull the trigger just yet as the SD peeps haven't said anything

I've used Kushan to do a lot of work on my Corvette. He is a regular at the track and knows what works.

Kushan I hear does well with tuning. My buddy had his 03 z06 tuned by him. I had an 11 SS, took it to Ryne@cunninham motorsports. Liked his tune worked great he's definitely your best bet in my opinion. Don't ask any other tuners about another shop they all talk trash. But at least with Ryne I knew my car was in good hands. Recommend him all the way with your build. Can't wait to get a corvette or a new 14 1LE and throw it in his hands for some work!

email Cunningham Motorsports. You'll be ready to pull the trigger with CMS after talking with Mike and Ryne.

I don't know if you have pulled the trigger yet but I can tell you from experience that Kushan does fine work. He installed my full exhaust and tuned for a reasonable price. I had the work done last May and have been running strong since. He's a Corvette guy, guess what our engines are? He made sure everything was optimal and that I was satisfied with his work before I left. Talk to him in person and you will understand what I'm saying. Hope this helps.

CMS or bust. Let the performance and track results speak for themselves on the drag strip or the road coarse. Just saying

Im another proud CMS customer, I'm a local san diego guy and have never heard of the shop you're talking about. Im not going to bash anyone but when i comes to engine work Ryne is the only guy who has and will touch the car

CMS for me as well...been through the ringer with my car...and every time I'd have an issue or question, Ryne and Texas always took care of it asap...and Ryne knows I have a lot of questions lol.
