I'll cut to the chase. I'm installing the gray wire in pin #38. It slides all the way past the stop! The depinning tool breaks the plastic tab

I'm in the middle of a very stiff Crown & Coke and am hoping someone can help me fix this without doing the obvious. Oh, and to top it all off, I dropped the blue cap and it's hiding somewhere in the motor - and laughing like hell, I'm sure

Any help fellas, will be appreciated. Thanks.

The terminal has only one direction that it will clip. Also once you push the terminal in if it going to deep hold it in position and put the blue cap on and it should lock it in.

Thank you very much! The thought of replacing the whole connector - repining all those wires!! - was very depressing. The blue retainer did lock the pin. Life is good.
