Gas Cans/Jugs for track

So im interested to see what guys are using to take gas/E85 to the track? I have a couple of options but not sure which is the best one. So would like to know what guys are using or opinions.

1. https://www.justrite.com/7250120-typ...se-red-7250120
Looks like a great can just expensive. Also has more of a old look to it.

2. https://vpracingfuels.com/product/vp...ntainer/?c=237
This looks like what most guys use just don't like that you have to open the vent up before pouring, also it's pretty tall.

3. https://vpracingfuels.com/product/vp-surecan/?c=237

Looks like a great option but not to sure how long the gasket will last on the bottom of the can.

I've got a couple of the VP's. The vent is only a minor hindrance. You can crack it a half turn or so until the fuel level in the jug drops just a bit, then loosen it several turns. Only spill a few drops in a typical fill up.

I have a bunch of 5 Gallon clear jugs like the ones you buy from Summit, Jeg or VP. Just make sure you take your slide in funnel that came with you car.

So you have to use the funnel with any jug? You can't slide the hose inside without getting stuck?

The VP can don't fit in the trunk correct?

You don't want the store gas in your trunk.

I use the VP racing jugs (middle link). I take about 8 with me to the track in my trailer.
I like that they have a large mouth and that the gasket on the cap seals well. the air vent cap has not been an issue for me.

there's no way you are fitting those in the trunk of a camaro though. you will need a friend to bring them in his pickup/minivan (or you can get a small tire trailer to tow behind your car; i've seen that done too)

So I have to use Uhaul trailer as I have no place to park a trailer if I purchased one. Uhaul trailer has no place to put cans. I have a X7 that I was going to tow with.

Also read that the VP jugs are not for transporting fuel. What's the deal with that BS. Let me guess some EPA shit.

VP jugs are the best, great bundle deals on EBay. I get the white ones because you can see fuel level easy through side. The standard hose spout does fit in the ZL1 tank. What doesn’t sometimes fit are pump spouts at the track.

VP also makes a stubby 3 gallon can that can fit in the trunk without spout attached, I saw a guy show up at track with at least 4 in his trunk.

Get some of these cargo supports to hold them in place.

It's probably not advisable, but if you fold down the back seat, two of the standard size VP jugs fit just fine

I bought a couple of the yellow lower profile 5 gallon jugs off Amazon for ethanol and they fit in the trunk great and come with a built in nozzle.

What do you mean? Are you standing them on the back of the folded seat inside the cabin?
