I had meant to give a shout out to DynoSteve at RDP for providing a good product at a very good price with this info.
I've had several opportunities to drive the car now and it sounds great! I'm very happy with my decision to break down and get the Borla 60606. Installed it on my garage floor on jack stands with hand tools- I won't say it was a piece of cake install, but not too bad as installs go. They're never as easy as you envision them. If you have any problems/questions with yours, feel free to drop me a PM. Borla also provides pretty adequate instructions as well! |

Hey guys, got a CEL a couple of weeks after putting the 60606 on. It was leaking in a few spots and had to have the pipes moved and tightened back down. CEL hasn't gone away since, but it has only been a couple of ignition cycles. Will update if it goes away.

I ended up welding the drivers side connector to the car cause I couldn’t get a snug fit no issues since.

Looking for an update, anyone with sound difference vs. stock NPP? This looks like a really appealing mod!

Took the car to a couple of muffler shops, but that didn’t clear the CEL, P0420. Ended up taking it to the dealer for an oil change and they looked at it. Turns out the driver side primary cat went bad as well as the high and low side O2s which the dealer replaced. I assume the tech did some additional work, but the service advisor didn’’t provide the details. The dealer covered everything under warranty, but told me that if there are any other issues with the emissions, that they won’t cover them because I changed the exhaust. It has been a couple of weeks and so far so good.

But she did take spin this week and I started in "Stealth" mode and just as the car idled down I switched to "Track". The exhaust note went so much deeper and throatier that her eyes went wide open and she said "you can really hear that change you made!" She's not the type to normally notice anything automotive. Of course she still hasn't heard it at 6K RPM- I'd never get her back in the car. It's scary at full roar (IMHO). Get yourself one while you can! |

Also thinking about doing this setup!! Price seems very reasonable and the ability to do it with hand tools is great!

Just did the install of mine today. I have an A8 so all I did was plug the valves back in and zip tied them out of the way.
