Thanks for all your info. Can I ask what kind of $$ this setup costs?

Thanks.

Did you have any issues revving it that high? My dad's car has the same mods and it knocks severely pass 6700.

I have no issues with revving to 6400-6500. My tuner told me to shift at that rpm. Car feels great. Went to an autocross event last month and was impressed with how capable these 1Le s are.

This setup cost around $3900 including labor and tuning. Thank you Julio at Cartek Racing for the tune and professional install. Plans for a cam very soon. Can't wait

I’m not sure if it was mentioned or not but, do you still have cats? Also, do you have the Kooks long system or do you still have the stock midpipe? Is your MSD stock or is that ported?

Redline on these engines is aout 6500. If you want to to 7k you nesd solid lifters to REALLY be safe...

Ahh.. No. You can easily take a hydraulic into the 7500 range. A solid lifter should be used in anything looking to spin 7500+ imo. Well, a solid should be used in anything you want to perform really well. LLSR is where it is at these days.

Speaking of which, I’m surprised there hasn’t been any LLSR cams for this engine, yet. It seemed like a massive breakthrough late in the game for LS3’s.

I have 1&7/8 kooks headers no cats. Still have the secondary cats to NPP exhaust. The MSD intake manifold is stock.

I'd be happy to be the guinea pig, if any vendor needs one. Could maybe provide some at cost parts. Eh?
