Question Who makes good ground effects??

Wanting to add a front splitter and side skirts but want a reputable brand that fits good and is made from good materials. Anyone have suggestions let me know, thanks.

OEM? Or do you not like the styling of the current offerings?

OP, I've had the best experience with OEM GM parts. Anderson Composites have a stellar reputation, but they are also expensive.

Steering a bit back to the Home Depot jab, you get what you pay for, any cheap ground effects will likely have crappy fitment, materials or even design (case in point: splitters with a hollow bottom).

GM's parts will generally have the best fitment. And, if you're able to spring for them, buy them -with- the car (on the sales contract) when new to get the best warranty for them (3/36 coverage as opposed to 12 month when purchased separate).

Aftermarket parts are generally the way to go if you want to A) save money and/or B) acquire a look that's NOT the same as OEM. This is an area to be very careful of because of what you say - materials and design may be poor and they may well not fit correctly.

I did a lot of looking around and reached out the company multiple times to ask questions (because the info on their web site is very confusing to me) before I decided to try the set I bought. Although there are others in this forum that tried side skirts from EOS in the past and had complaints about fitment, I found no such issues. I don't know if the design has changed, but they follow the contour of the car pretty well and have had no issues remaining in attached with tape only.

The splitter in this kit is not hollow underneath, either. It's quite rigid because it's a fully formed piece and has also "stayed put" quite nicely.

I would maybe like to get some side skirts but want to see them in person on a car not just pictures. Maybe I’ll have a chance this spring/summer to see some other camaros with ground effects.

Yeah OEM would work too didnt think about that. The only one looked good so far was EOS. Wasnt concerned with price.

I looked at quite a few and found the EOS styling was the most pleasing to my eye as it was simple without making the car look like it was trying to be a ricer.

I got a mix of OEM/ACS stuff on my car and couldn’t be any happier with the quality of the materials and paint work. ACS is a bit pricy but the quality far exceeds the cost imo

Try these, they're painted to match the car:

Splitter is always easy to pick out. The skirts and the piece around the diffuser are pretty subtle being color-matched.
