Modern spare?
Anyone order a Modern Spare? I have an 18 ZL1w/ stock wheels/tires (20”).
Called them yesterday and asked if their tire fits on the front AND rear. They said no! I would need a spacer. For another $40 they will sell and ship one out. Holy shi_. Anyone else find a solution or just sucked it up and paid? That brings the shipped total from $380 up to $420. |

I bought one of their spare kits. For my 2017 1SS. It fits nicely, the jack works reliably.
Living in rural MT where there are vast areas without cell service....I thought it was cheap insurance. |

I posted something similar recently. I did order mine. Is the spacer required on an SS also? I guess I should call them. If required, I will just order from them.

I bought the Modern Spare kit for my SS because I'd switched to Michelin PS4S tires instead of runflats. My car is a coupe and it takes up a good portion of the trunk space. Saw a convertible trunk open the other day and it did not look to me like this would fit in there, however I don't know if all the 'verts have such a tiny trunk.
