AWE Track Exhaust

I would like some feedback i was thinking of getting this
For my 17 Camaro 1SS. I went on YouTube and watch someone install it. Then i seen a older thread here and it actually made sense i will share the link.
https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=544824

My thing is as someone else said i dont want to pay this much for a muffler delete. I seen when u install it the suitcase muffler gets cut off. I dont want just some pretty tubing if all its doing is deleting the muffler i can get that done cheap. You guys input please.

2 cuts on the exhaust in your driveway. I cut mine with a hacksaw and the couplers they send with it have worked well for me. And If I were you I would not go with anything Track Edition. I have the Touring and so do a couple of other guys on here. I love mine. PM me your phone number and I will send a few videos of what it sounds like. Please don't just straight pipe it, you probably won't like it and it will drone like crazy. I have the A8 auto and it does not drone even when my AFM was still active you could not really tell.

Known to drone.

I use an MBRP axle back which is basically a muffler delete as well but this has a resonator in it to deal with it. I've been very happy with it. And there's almost no reason to spend coin on a cat back on these cars unless you plan to go headers, tune, and bolt-on's. An axle back works perfectly well.

Yeah the track is a muffler delete and adding pipe.

I love my AWE track axleback. My car is the non npp option so it only has the single outlets which is the cheapest AWE for under $500.
Most people will complain about drone though. Not me, I have a Honda Civic for a daily. It's fun time when the Camaro is on the loose

I did axle back track edition on my old 2020 SS convertible. I absolutely loved it and plan on cat back on my current 2017 SS

I've had different exhaust setups over the years on several different cars, and tend to prefer louder options than most people. I have the AWE Track on my 1LE right now. That being said, this exhaust drones the most of anything I've ever owned. Under load at 2k rpms, particularly in higher gears, it's difficult to talk. In fact, it's loud enough that I could communicate with my passenger with a helmet on at a recent track day.

I'm considering selling mine for a Touring.

Anything that says it is Track edition is going to drone. It is basically straight pipes with tips is all those setups are. Get the Touring Edition, you will be happy with the sound and the drone going away:

+1 on the AWE touring, and coming from a 2017 SS, the sound difference will be much more noticeable
