Time to move.

Wow I paid only $35,995.00 for the 2010 2SS I bought new back in 2010. It had a LS3, 6 speed manual, RS option and Cyber Gray.

Wouldn't have thought that I'd see a 10+year old used car in a dealer showroom like it's a classic. It's just a run of the mill SS.

But I guess if you are trying to sell it for $35K, having it on the showroom floor implies "valuable."

It's also in freezing-a** Minnesota. They park the nice cars that won't sell for the cold season (October-April) indoors.

I mean, I guess inflation, but pretty sure I spent around 31K on my 2010 2SS in 2010 with a few miles on it.

I hate the roads out here in Long Island, but they aren't as bad as the boroughs. I refuse to take my Camaro into Brooklyn / Queens unless it is to leave NY completely to go to PA, NJ or towards Canada.

I nag my wife about moving to Florida for the better roads, and she doesn't understand why I would want to move somewhere else for smoother roads.

The 2010 to 2013 Camaro SS is really growing on me. I originally wanted another 4th gen LS1 car along side my 22 1LE, but I feel if I can find a good 10-13 6-speed SS with under 60k miles, under $20k, I would pick it up.

This country doesn't have money for infrastructure - roads. We have illegals and a climate crisis to fund. It's like the government doesn't us want us to drive.

It's a used car dude. What is GM gonna do with a used car?

Anyone can ask whatever they want for a used car. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Pretty simple. No need to get your feelings hurt over how someone is pricing a 14 year old car that you probably weren't really interested in buying anyway.

Seems logical to me.

On the subject of dealers selling new cars, I think many of us are fed up with NADA forcing their tired old model on us through lobbying and other chummy legislation which basically forbids OEM from selling vehicles directly to consumers in most states.

It’s like buying a house! there’s a sellers market and a buyers market, I have to thank Covid for the buyers market, I bought my car for 16,000 under MSRP with a shit ton extras.

I wish I bought early 2020 when the world was ending. Could have gotten a great deal on a ZL1 in Rally Green for probably a little more than I paid for my 1SS 1LE lol.
