I use them for the same purposes you note - light work like oil changes (engine and rear diff), etc. Depends on what make you comfortable, and what you're willing to spend. Of your possible choices, race ramps are probably in the upper cost range of the possible solutions.
Good luck on your choice!

Edit: i should note that i like redundancy, and urge the same to all... i also poke my jack stands under the jack pads, and throw a tire under the carriage. Paranoid? Maybe so, but not interested in being that one guy, when it's easy to have backup 'system'. 32.2 ft/s^2 happens really fast.
+1 on race ramps. Light and they wprk great on stock height Camaros.

Another +1 On putting tires with wood under a jacked up car. My uncle was stuck under a car screaming. Luckily he survived.

Rhino ramps with some wood duct taped to give it the shallower angle to clear the splitter. Problem solved.

$500 for 2 part expanded foam ramps...

Bob's Industrial BIS-0777 to the rescue!

I spent some time researching the different ramps. I foolishly purchased Rhino Ramps as they advertised they were good for lower vehicles. Turns out the 17° is not adequate for my 2023 2LT Convertible. After doing a little math, I figured out I needed more like a 10° angle in my ramp... well that's going to cost between $160-$500 plus tax.

I found Bob's Industrial Supply ramps... they are great! At the time of my purchase, they were selling at Amazon for $160 plus tax. But right now they are a little cheaper... here is the Amazon link.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...E7U53NWQ&psc=1

But I got mine from Woot! for $102.99 + $6 shipping (free shipping if you're a Amazon Prime Member). These are beefy stands... around 18 lbs each, and support 5 tons each. Jump on the Woot! deal if you need a nice pair of stands, with no futzin'.

They stand up nice on their own as well... or you can hang them by a strong nail or screw in a stud. The ramps have hanging holes but you'd have to drill through the rubber feet if you wanted to hang them flat against the wall.

2 piece XT race ramps are what I have and work real good with a ZL1. They are pricey but worth the money!

One of my first "mods" was to remove those eyesores, the no-good flappy rubber tire deflectors. Not only are they hideous (for some minuscule mpg gain), but look at the gap between them and the bumper.

If you do the same, you will instantly give yourself 2 extra inches of front clearance.

I bought a set of Race Ramps for my C7 and used them for 4 years. Should work great on my Camaro, when I get it. Highly recommend, easily worth the price.

If there are complaints of them cracking, it’s probably because of of misuse.

What do you recommend?
Made my own ramps out of stacked 2 x 8 wood. Also can be made out of 2 x 10 and 2 x 12 wood. They work great and the height and width can be made exactly the way you want. And they're much more sturdy then plastic ramps.

I am not totally opposed to removing them, but for now they are not causing any trouble when I drive. They have not scraped the ground yet, and I'm over 3000 miles. My C6 on the other hand, scraped on just about every parking lot I entered, including my home driveway. Back then I was told I should not remove them, only replace them when they became too mangled-looking (which I did twice). Are the Camaro deflectors different? There is really no reason to keep them on? Are there any arguments for leaving them on if they are not causing trouble?

agreed however,

I wonder if there is a slight change in coeficiency ?
(a trace amount I'm sure )

Well, the idea is just my 2 cents' worth These rubber pieces were added to deflect air around the tires and reduce drag, which I'm sure improves fuel economy somewhat, but I didn't see any tangible loss; in fact the car attained up to 30-31 mpg max (27-28 mpg typical) on the highway while it was stock.

The ZL1 has much lower profile plastic deflectors nested deeper behind and under the bumper, and they don't look half as bad as these Equinox style brouhahas.

Interesting to see this thread revived this morning. I also have a set of 67 inch two piece Race Ramps. Yesterday I was going to put the ZL1 up on them to check out the underside of the car and to install the ZL1 Addons jacking pucks I just purchased.

However, the front or lower portion of the ramp would not fit under the car without hitting the rubber spoiler under the car. So I didn't try to force the car up the ramp. Do you have this issue? I'm considering purchasing some Race Ramps Extenders to further reduce the approach angle. I've never had an issue with my Race Ramps rubbing before.

The deflectors on the C6 were actually a wear item, intending to keep as much air out from under the car by being as close to the ground as practical and then to be replaced when they were ground off by road contact. I replaced mine once in 6 years. I remember that GM stopped making them, and there was such an outcry from C6 owners that GM started producing them again.
