Lexani Lx-twenty: Is the cheaper tire worth it?

After researching many tire brands, I've decided to purchase a set of Lexani tires. I have an appointment tomorrow to have them mounted and balanced. There are mixed are mixed feelings on these tires, however, I couldn't pass the price up ($523 per set). The reviews show promise and I'm willing to give them a try. I don't track my car so I'm not looking for max performance. I will let you guys know how they hold up.

If all you're doing is driving around town, they'll work okay.

Speaking from experience, I would not do it. I will never go for cheap tires ever again. I have had bubbles on the inside and other issues with tire brands like Lionheart and Lexani. Don't cut corners on tires, it's not worth the risk especially if you're driving something like a ZL1.

Never heard of those tires before. I would atleast take it up a notch to the mid tiers like General or BFG.

This.

Question was asked before.

You drive a 650hp performance car?
...and buy $100 tires....

I wouldn’t spare money on the only contact patch to the ground in a car that makes 650hp, I’d be worried about grip, what if I wanna drive it more aggressively . Is that tire going to hold the power?

I had them mounted and balanced today. I'm impressed with the way they handle on the back roads.

I put a set of them on my ram r/t in 22” for something cheap to have new tires on it while selling. Damn they wore out fast. Had them on few months while trying to decide between ZL1 or SS and finding right car near area. Tires were Half gone by time i sold the truck

I would like to hear feedback if you had tail wag on hard acellaration. I put some on that were 295/35 on 9.5 rim and when you floor it from say 50 it seems to drive from the rear. I understand that can be because of too big tire for the rim. supercharger 2ss by the way? Tires are quite and run smooth.

I ****ing wouldn't... cheap tires are a bad idea, I stick with Continental or Hankook or something for value, no need to buy Michelin's or Pirelli's but I'd steer way clear of Chinese junk
