Why?

Why are mustangs so much louder than camaros? I have long tubes and full 3 inch exhaust with off road pipes, so my car isn't quiet by no means, but I feel like I always see mustangs that are louder than my car with just an exhaust and stock manifolds? What gives?

Stock 2013 Mustang GT sounded so sweet... Added pypes exhaust and it sounded crazy loud. Straighthrough design and all...

My 2010 Camaro SS? Came with GMPP touring exhaust.... sounded OK... got Borla S type. Now that sound. WTB Headers.

All I ever see around these parts is V6 Mustangs and they sound like krap.

Op, you cant generalize like that. It all really depends on exhaust set up. There are way too many combos to make such a broad statement. With the right parts both can aound just as loud and good.
