Just some friendly advise but I wouldn't take a ZL1 pump/BOP combo past 600 L99 RWHP with a PD blower. At least do some full WOT 1/4 mile data logs of fuel pressure before you go past that point. Better safe than sorry. Glad to see you got your new motor. Good luck

im with everybody else man. I wouldnt do a ZL1 pump and bap. Im running a lonnies twin pump at a little over 700rwhp and fuel is good. I would turn it up more but motor isnt forged.

Shouldn't go much past 650 rwhp if that. I"ll keep a close eye on AFR, and fuel pressure as we test it and tune it. If needs be I can order a control module like ADMs or another. I plan on taking a no tolerance approach. If it even begins to act as if it wants to drop then I'll go to the next level.

I know the ZL1 pump will work just fine at this power level just don't know if the BAP will keep up. I don't see why it wouldn't? But if it does not, I've already got a contact for the FPCM.

Or like Pete said, mostly black with orange accents.

So ZL1 and controller should work?

Compression ratio actually only ended up at 10.17:1 which is what our target was but for some reason I thought the original number was closer to 10.7:1 so I messed up there. Looks like it started at 10.4:1 so I only lowered it by .23....

Anyway, here is the cam I went with and some misc. info on my pistons.

The IDs are much more expensive. That's what ha me wondering about mine.

The hole in the floor does not appear to effect any rigidity so I figure it's the best option. Quickest, easiest and if I need to swap pumps it'll literally be a 45 minute job.

That's getting more common for those that are swapping pumps out. MUCH easier to pull the back seat and a undo a cover to access the pump, as apposed to pulling the rear cradle.

Hmmm....u will be out of fuel above 650whp. Been there done that. That was with adm/zl1 combo. Yes, you could add a BAP. For some security. You may run out before that because of the roots blower. I had a centri but had a big converter eating some power on th rollers. My car went mid 10sec range to put in perspective. I vote for the LPE fuel pump set up and no BAP.

Well, having already gotten a ZL1 pump for next to nothing and already having my BAP already in place I'll try it and see what happens. For all I know it won't make the power I'm expecting. And of course it may make more.

I'm still unsure of how I'm going to get the blower to spin faster. Rear pulley set-up I suppose.

It's another good thing about cutting the rear panel to access the fuel pump easily.
