2022 SS1 1LE Pad/Rotor Shopping Help

Hi,

I bought a 2022 SS1 1LE with the copper free brake system. Sadly, Tire Rack does not carry pads or rotors for this.

Where is a good place to get pads and rotors that fit this brake system? I need a track pad, similar to a Hawk DTC-80.

Alternatively, part numbers for some copy pasta will suffice.

Thanks in advance.

OEM parts from the gm parts depots (there are a ton of them, shop around for best price). Check Rock Auto. Check Amazon. Google search part numbers.

For Hawk or other aftermarket pads, talk to KNS Brakes.

Rockauto has the oe copper free parts. OE rotors are the only option. Expensive but should last a long time because of the heat capacity. Pad choice matters too as far as rotor life. As far as track pads, the copper free are so new, there is not much out there. The front pad shape is 8091 and the rear is the same as the Gen6 ZL1. Ken @ KNS may have more info as he is aware of the copper free system. Also Porterfield can make custom pads.

Some info here:

Search here on the forums under copper free or BCD. There are scattered threads with more info.
