My point is that there's a lot of info on the web about weight reduction, and it's not very difficult to get one down into the high 3600s.

Nobody here said it was difficult to get weight out of a Camaro6.

I disagree. There's a bunch of skeptical owners on this and other threads. Guys quoting 3900-4200 lbs.

Weight on 2019 SS1LE with A10 tranny

Ok well here is a certified CAT scale printout on my 2019 SS 1LE. The indicated 3780 pounds INCLUDES 18 gallons of fuel which weighs roughly 126 pounds. So EMPTY weight is 3654 pounds (3780 - 126 pound).

For those unaware, the easiest way to get you car weight is to go to any truck stop that has a weight scale. Weight and Measures checks those scales for accuracy ever now and then. Usually for about 12.50 they will weigh you and give you print out.

I have stock exhaust on this car and APEX 19 x 10.5 wheels with 305 30 19 MS 4S on so I may be SLIGHTLY less than normal weight but not by much.

After I put my KOOKs headers and Magnaflow Mufflers on I will re-weigh because the stock suitcase exhaust is HEAVY.

Suggestion...fill your car to the top just prior to doing a weigh. Likely the most accurate/repeatable way to get a consistent number for each 'mod'. How do you say you only have 2 gallons? Using the OEM gauge?

My SS 1LE with a full tank (filled 2 blocks away) was: 3761 minus 19 gallons (@ 6.3) = 3641 pounds.

Same car with only addition of LT4 blower system / ADM coolant reservoir is: 3849 minus 19 gallons = 3729 (fresh tires, front brake rotors, AFR and boost gauges add 9.4 pounds - I weighed them separately)

Both corner weighted scales.

That's where mine is, and I have pulled the pass. and rear seats in the past to drop it into the high 3600s.
