So out of curiosity, i am going to be installing TSP 1 7/8th headers would the mid pipe fit with the off road connection pipes? I am new to doing these kinda of mods and this would be a great money saver instead of having to pay 500+ for just a mid pipe. Thanks!

How easy/difficult was the install? I’m guessing you had a lift available?

I want to get the x-pipe kit to go with a set of LG headers I have installed. What distance apart from each collector on center will it work with? Thanks

I heard back from Speed Engineering and this was their reply:
"Thank you for your interest in our products. Unfortunately, we do not have the measurements from collector to collector.

Thanks
Marcus"

If anyone happens to be under their car anytime soon, could you please measure the distance from the center of one collector to the other So I know if it will fit up with my LG headers? Really would be appreciated. Thanks

Does anyone know the thickness of the primaries for the 2"? I was going back and forth with their ebay rep but he didn't know and made no effort to find out. I know TSP claims 2mm thickness.

UrMaster: All of our header primaries are 16 gauge. 2mm doesn't sound right. Might want to double check. That would be like 12 gauge material. I don't even think Kooks or American Racing use that thick of tubing.

Thanks

Guys, I'm in the middle of this install and it's not going nearly as smoothly. I have an 18 zle with kooks 2" lth and green cats. The x pipe and rear section bolt up fine, but the front off road pipes ain't fitting. There are two big problems. The first is that the radius at the heat shield to connect to the green cats is to tight. If I push up the x pipe into the tunnel so that it doesn't hang down then the off road pipe hits the corner/heat shield and the diff cooler line. Secondly to get anything to clear means the entire set up hangs down probably 3".

Well I got it installed. Going to go to the muffler shop to have everything welded in place due to leaks, but I was able to make it all work. The cross member under the stock x pipe won't go back in because the new set up hangs below the stock level. The stock mid pipe actually raises up and tucks into the tunnel. The new x pipe doesn't have the contour of the stock pipe and is lower and straight. It doesn't hang lower than the kooks headers though so I think we're ok. Fitting the off road pipes to green cats is not cut and dried. Luckily my buddy has a 4 pay lift in an air conditioned garage so the process wasn't miserable.

Why are these headers so cheap?

Were there any dyno results on these? I had a set on my 5th gen and loved em. Looking at starting to mess with my 19 and figured this would be a good place to start

Sean, I am also interested in this kit. Any update on when it might be available?
