DRL replacement
One of my DRL's got cracked today on the road. Is it possible to bolt a new one in through the fender liner? Or do I need to remove the bumper?

You should be able to replace it via the wheel liner.

Peeling back the wheel liner is way easier, just turn the respective wheel inward for each side and you'll have plenty of clearance.

Same problem
Please post if you are successful in changing out your DRL's. The one guy that is saying it can be done through the fender liner has an SS and SS models don't have the heat exchangers that ZL1's do. I posted a while back that people should stay on topic because SS guys that try to help don't realize that something's are way different between models. I got chewed out for it. Thanks.

Pulling the wheel off will save more time than trying to work around it.

Prior to removing my bumper for my ZLE areo conversion, I had to disconnect the DRLs. I did that via the wheel well liner. You can easily reach the DRLs from the liner. The heat exchangers are not in the way. Take the wheel off, don't turn it, it is not going to give you enough room to work. I don't remember how many bolts for the DRLs, maybe 3-4.

Just fyi you could swap bezels and add dive planes for the same price as that DRL.. maybe even lower.. Of course you would lose the drls

Were you able to access the DRL's going through the front fender well? Thanks
