My dyno run at Jannetty Racing

It made 662 on pump fuel. Eliminated the methanol. Made 698.7 on E40. It has more room just running out of fuel.

How big of a pain in the ass was it to do your own blower install?

Not bad. Whipples directions are fairly good. When I looked into whipples no one mentions cutting the hood. The drawing they give you for the cutout doesn’t work if you use the clamps for the wire harness across the top. You need another 3/8 forward. They also don’t account for the factory inter cooler bleeder either.

I made 681/693 on E43 there last week. Also running out of fuel.

Ted wants me to do the voltage booster. I'm leaning towards the DSX additional fuel pump. Redundancy makes me feel better.

Your car was parked right behind mine in Teds post before the weekend. You were out on the low side? I did the booster and high side is my problem.

Yeah, Ted said that the low side dropped almost 100 kpa. Didn't mention my high side running out of steam. From what I see, a little over 700 on e and even the high side is struggling.

Congrats on the numbers. Is it a pretty conservative tune? Seems a bit on the low side for a Whipple.

Yes. I wanted it that way. It was tuned before with methanol made 713 on a stock blower but the tuning was not good and cost me a motor. Nice safe street tune. I have a winter project if I want more. I’m going to drive it for the season.
