True, but that applies if you already own a previous PTB, in which case we'll add features to it.

If you are starting with a stock TB, then everything (the porting + our new features) will be there on our parts.

Got my Soler coming tomorrow. I have had the Mamo on the car for about 3 months. I am looking forward to the comparison!

Data log and take a look at the TB position data at wide open throttle. You won't see 100%

That’s common for all DBW TBs. Both my brother’s ‘16 Z06 and my ‘17 SS both commanded 100 and showed 87 open at WOT with both the stock 87mm and ZR1 95mm. There was no difference in the data log by just going to the bigger TB...aside from more power...

I ran one for 500 miles without a tune. Drivability was completely fine. However, you can get a TPS code for more air flow being out of range for position. Tuning thresholds corrected that. The code came up twice over the 500ish miles which includes 2 runs at the local 1/4 track.

Welcome to 2005. Here is a snip from a 2012 CTSV with a stock TB. Here is a 2015 Silverado with a 6.2 also. See commanded vs actual. This truck is stock. Don't be confused by the number, its most likely an HPTuners interpretation thing...not the actual position of the TB.

My results exactly but, more frequent. For the record this is on my '17 Z06/Z07 not my '17 SS.

Without a tune you're leaving HP & TQ on the table and subject to CEL's. Back to Back swap without a tune I've seen minimal gains posted.

So in both of our cases, they were on supercharged cars. I doubt the LT1 would see enough of an improvement to really matter. I would like to see it on an NA car.

The original poster has a ZL1, hence my comments.

I bet your right, on a stock LT1 (N/A) it would be a waste of money.

Thanks brother..

No codes on either car with the Soler TB
