That’s common for all DBW TBs. Both my brother’s ‘16 Z06 and my ‘17 SS both commanded 100 and showed 87 open at WOT with both the stock 87mm and ZR1 95mm. There was no difference in the data log by just going to the bigger TB...aside from more power...

I ran one for 500 miles without a tune. Drivability was completely fine. However, you can get a TPS code for more air flow being out of range for position. Tuning thresholds corrected that. The code came up twice over the 500ish miles which includes 2 runs at the local 1/4 track.

Welcome to 2005. Here is a snip from a 2012 CTSV with a stock TB. Here is a 2015 Silverado with a 6.2 also. See commanded vs actual. This truck is stock. Don't be confused by the number, its most likely an HPTuners interpretation thing...not the actual position of the TB.

So in both of our cases, they were on supercharged cars. I doubt the LT1 would see enough of an improvement to really matter. I would like to see it on an NA car.
