How to disable that white LED in the top center by the rear view mirror??

What have people done to turn this off or disable it? It’s super annoying at night. I don’t want it or need it.

Black magic marker on the led lens.

Drop that console and unplug it. Console is just held on by a few clips.

I put electrical tape over the light and passenger symbol.

Black Vinyl wrap on the visors to hide the ugly airbag warnings.

My sunroof 3LT doesn't look like that? Is it not just the reading light? Can you toggle it off?

No, it's the map light and it's always on. The two reading lights do have a switch for each, but not this one.

Either this or physically mask it.
Lots of ideas already on blocking it.

Black latex caulk would probably stick until you wanted to pull it off. Minimal residue if you use latex.

What is it for? Never noticed anything like that in my car. Now I'll have to look. (Next Spring) It's put away for winter.
