Forgive me, I'm new to all this. I see status as delivered but I don't see where after it left Lansing? Can you explain this to me? Thank you for looking into this for me.

Your car was moved from the manufacturing parking lot to the rail yard to be loaded onto a train. For my car I checked once a week to see if there was a new Order status code. Through the chat feature on Chevrolet.com you should be able to get a status code and an ETA for shipping. My dealer wasn't much help as far as that is concerned, but since your car is at the rail yard I would expect you will get it within a few weeks. (mine took 10 days to get to Texas)

I will chime in since I had the same thing pop up with mine. My assumption is you are waiting for a car you have already purchased or secured a loan for. Once the car paperwork is complete the dealer updates it electronically and the car goes into "6000 status - Delivered". It doesn't mean the car is actually delivered anywhere.

If you purchased the car, the dealer can turn on OnStar for you, where you can download an app and locate your vehicle location. That function will only work for about a week after the car was last started. Also, it is not always accurate. I checked mine yesterday morning and it showed me the car was in Chicago. 2 hours later is was showing in Kansas City. If it takes a long time to ping, understand it may not be accurate.

Beyond using OnStar, your only option is to check in with the dealer who MAY be able to tell you where it is. Good luck.

My car was built on 22 July, set in the Lansing CN Railyard for a month, and then started moving last week.

Thank you both, I ordered thru a dealer in Phoenix, Az in April. Hopefully it won't be too much longer now. I'll see if they can turn on the Onstar for me. Thanks again, I really do appreciate!

For those of you that have paid for your car already or had the dealership already turn on Onstar before the car has been delivered does that effect when you warranty starts?

Yup, nothing to worry about, mine came in at 6 miles back then, too. Anything under 8-10 miles is standard with no caveats.

lol, that is nothing. It's pretty standard for everything to come in with 5-10 miles on it.

So actually the one I've had my name on for a couple weeks was built over 6 months ago. Should I be concerned at all about it sitting for 6 months in snow and heat? Granted probably no other new car would be different right now...like I could get a blue one that's on the lot in Oklahoma ready. Idk if that one sat around in the cold for 6 months either
