I'll take a MT over an AT Camaro as well even though I know it's the slower option. Preference.
The 2.7L Ecoboost nets 26 Hwy and can out tow Chevy's V6 and probably give the 5.3 a run for its money. Not to mention it also is using the 6AT. I expect the 2.7L ecoboost to hit 27 maybe 28 Hwy with the introduction of the 10 speed.

Imagine what the F150 will get with the new diesel engine their going to offer. That coupled with the ten speed will probably net 30/31 mpg hwy I bet.

In the RR Td6 the 3.0 is rated at 28mpg hwy. That's in a 4727lb suv mated to an 8AT. So your 30/31 should be easily within grasp.

I like the tech in the AF-150s. If I were to get a truck, I'd get an F-150.

I don't even entertain the Chevy V6. The comparisons i've read are typically 3.5EB vs 6.2LS. No significant real world difference.

I like the idea of owning a 2.7 Ecoboost truck. So I have no negatives against the F150.

The GM twins are getting a variant of the newer LGX V6, along with the 8 speed transmission next year. Should bump that highway mpg from 26 to 27. I would not expect more than that. Same with the 10 speed in the F150.

At Hwy speeds, better aero dynamics will make the biggest different at this point, but what truck is ever going to be a great aero vehicle?

Hopefully mine will be here next month. v-6 doesn't bother me at all.
