If the R variant has CC brakes, there's no way it will cost less than $60K

That's a $12K option on some vehicles!

I will be impressed if it starts there I had it pegged 2K-5K above that. Be interesting to see what the actual out the door price will be if you can find any on lots advertised under 60K after destination charge, Gas Guzzler tax, and option packages that would be a joke if not added.

The dealers will gouge for sure, but look around enough and you will find other dealers selling at MSRP or below.

It will be interesting to see if it gets slapped with a GG Tax, IIRC even the GT500 was able to squeak by without having the GG tax, but I could be wrong on that.

If it really is in the 50s, I have found probably my dream vehicle, to bad it's no where near the right time or place in my life to buy one hahaha

Totally uncorroborated price? I think it'll be priced higher than that.

Possibly...however with things like MagneRide, the tech pkg, and track pkg being options; added to the lack(for now) of a CC brakes, additional aero, etc, that are most likely being saved for the higher spec "R", the $53k price could very well be accurate.

Think of the sales plan as one similar to the Trinity GT500's. By making the cars ā la carte, Ford can keep the entry price much lower than one would expect.

Who wouldn't want a 662hp beats for $40k? Realistically, it wasn't going to happen. Just because you didn't get it for $40k doesn't mean that this selling structure didn't allow you to "save" cash on your puechase. You didn't want the SVT Performance pkg or the Track pkg, it was stuff you didn't want or need and it saved you from paying $6500 that would, for you, be an unnecessary waste.

Thus the ā la carte statement. The GT350 "should" allow the same type of purchase.

No, i meant the car burst into flames when i try to turn.

As far as resale, low to no option cars are holding their value much better than high option ones.

Right? I don't even know why they put that wheel thing in the interior. It should've just been an up and down lever to make the car go forward...and possibly reverse...if you're into that kind of thing.

So, I take it you don't want to trade me?
What's not to like in the deal? Mine's older, slower, less powerful...AND has more miles.

I have a nice 99GT that I'd love to trade straight up.

It's older, slower, less powerful, and has more miles (probably).
