They put a sound enhancer inside the car to make it sound beefier. There's a video somewhere.

Yeah, it has active noise cancelling. Which uses sound waves opposite to the frequencies that are "abrasive" leaving only frequencies that make the engine sound better inside the cabin. It's actually an older tech, but this is it's first application in Mustang.

Don't believe it. Not the 109 part.

That sounds about right to me.

That was a 5.0 PP (M6) that had a really, really bad launch. It was one of AmericanMuscle's development fleet GT's that couldn't get traction and was wheel-hopping.

Gotcha. I figured it was probably something like that.

Unless you don't like the refresh! I hardly see the 6th Gen having any trouble in the look department because most ppl still would pick the 13-14 mustang anyways! As far as this eco boost mustang , it's Ford doing what they do best eco boosting! I want to see a 15 mustang that looks mean !

This.....I dont see the 15 being mean looking without a major facelift. Wheels and lowered stance aint gonna cut it.

SCT releases tuned results of 288.24 horsepower(+35) and 334.28 lb-ft of torque(+46) at the wheels, with a conservative/early tune. SCT believes there is more on the table.

http://www.svtperformance.com/?p=7289

I wonder why their stock run had a large discrepancy on output vs the other two dynos we have?

SCT
hp/tq
231.71/266.88

Woodbine
276.85/286.72

MotorTrend
279/295

I would assume that by lowballing the initial pull it makes the tune look more impressive. Either way 334.28 rwtq is a good start.

It has a round euro modern look to the front and a retro square rear end...makes no sense imo.

I wonder if this will be a common problem with the manual cars and that's why the ford racing cars had the mods they had.
