Petition to amend the 25 year rule on importing cars
As the title reads, there is a petition on We the People to reduce to 25 year rule on importing nonconforming vehicles to the US, down to 15 years. This may or may not affect you but there are many people out there that would love to import vehicles from say, the Aussie market. Granted 15 years would only allow us to to have access to cars up to '99 but in a few more years access to the early 2000's vehicles. So if you feel like it feel free to sign the petition. Thanks.

How about a petition that says...
100% of all cars sold in America have to be 100% built in America buy Americans with 100% American made parts. I'd sign that. |

yeah, if that was the case, the price of an American made car would be that of a super car.

Signed. This law is ridiculous and I remember talking about it 3 years ago about how it should be changed or removed. I read of a story of how this guy lost all his money on a R34? Skyline and the government red flagged it saying he couldn't have it in the U.S. So they confiscated it.

Yeah as amazing as that would be it's completely unrealistic and not feasible in today's market.

If everyone used this way of thinking we would have nothing. Unrealistic and not feasible are words that great people don't choose not to have in their vocabulary.
