Today, I was at a traffic light leaving work. I was in the left turn lane.
To my immediate left in the passing lane was a black ZL1 with black wheels. Three cars in front of the ZL1 was an orange V6 RS with black racing strips. Across from that car in the far right lane was a black LS. I was staring at them, and I couldn't help but think, "Me...too..."

It used to be common here but, since we now have eleventy billion of them on Florida roads nobody stares anymore except for my neighbors when i cold start this beast. Oh, and my wife who always comes out to the garage for the sole purpose of asking me what i am currently doing to the car. Then simply stands there staring for a while until she says hmmm and goes back inside.

Never get used to it!!!
I love it, happened today, one guy dead stopped and stared at it in the sunlight. Another neighbor complimented the car. I actually appreciate it because it makes paying the note a little easier. I actually stare at my own car and get caught up in the Chrystal Red Tintcoat. Mesmerized by the cars lines . . .

It's good and bad. Twice in the last 4 days my wife was followed in her Camaro by Creepers. Wrong type of stare. Time to keep the Smith & Wesson "Shield" in the glove box. I told her next time just smoke em, it's worth the ticket.

This past weekend a park ranger flagged me over. My first thought was "Oh crap... he's going to warn me about not having a front license plate." Nope... he just wanted to ask me about my car because he was thinking about buying one. We talked for about ten minutes. It never gets old.

Based on your pictures (of your car? ), it's at most 50/50 if you really believe people like cars that much. For the rest of us who only have our cars to look it - yes, it's nice and it never stops. |

On the interstate, a car with four passengers passed me in the left lane. The car didn't maintain its speed, though. It slowed a little to match my speed and I happened to notice all four people inside turning their heads to look at my car. Until...the driver almost drifted off the left side of the road and nearly overcompensated when trying to right the vehicle. Moral: It's not worth the risk of crashing and burning with your passengers at highway speeds just to ogle a nice car.
