The issue will be that at idle and low rpm, with an aftermarket muffler, it will sound beefier than stock. The issue will be when you get in the upper RPMs. That's when no matter what, it will sound like a v6. Headers, x pipe/ h pipe, cut ours, ect....will still not sound like a v8.
Agreed - with the amount of time and effort invested, just trade it for a V8

I was torn between a V6 vs a V8 but since mine is meant to be a daily run around car, I went the V6 - saved me $7K and if I feel the need for V8, I'd drive my C8 or my Hemi Ram.

Now I do wish my C8 sounded as mean as the 1SS I sold to get it, but that's a $5K exhaust system away. Maybe Santa will bring me that for Xmas LOL

Check me out bro I have over 7k views on YouTube for my exhaust set up, just a simple muffler delete, x-pipe and intake no tune but the key is getting bigger exhaust I got mid sized exhaust tips and the car came from rasp to rumble
