Just saw this post and I made something similar to this in 2018. I found a CAI setup that I wasn't using and fabbed my own out of the hard plastic shown in the pic (I did chop the neck). I removed the blocker but then thought the Rotofab opening would then be the restriction. I have no data to document any gains but my Shadetree mechanic mind thought it wouldn't hurt. Who knows.Name: 20180814_111104.jpg

Shade it! My dad started me out young helping with oil changes. In those days you had to put the metal spout into the round can with the cardboard sides. My grandfather used the oversized can opener!!

I’m sure we’ve all done and learned a lot because of Shadtree upbringings.

Have fun with the install. It’s not difficult.

I can picture those spouts and openers!

I got mine in and installed it 2 days ago. I was able to do it without dropping the front bumper cover off the car. It did take a bit of finagling to get it on that way but it saved time and effort from dropping the bumper as well. One thing I would like to have seen personally though is the intake funnel the air all the way to the stock intake inlet. The scoop stops a few inches short behind the headlight to where the stock intake inlet is that feeds the stock airbox. Anyway I am taking the car to the track tomorrow. Will see how everything performs.

Got mine in today as well. Took off the radiator cover and marked the hood latch and was able to wiggle it in place. Took about a hour.
Looks great. I'm not gonna be able to give a before and after time slip because I have installed Nitto tires and a ported intake manifold as well since my last time at the track.
Going tomorrow for some test and tune. Planning on all the changes will get me down in the sevens a good bit.
Guess we will see.

I keep hearing about installs, but never hear any rave reviews about the performance it ads.

It doesn't even plug into the airbox? What a waste of $169+

Hey 95 imp, this does connect to the air box. As your sliding the male portion into the rubber boot, the boot wants to collapse. I just used my hand from the air filter side of the RF to guide the boot around the ram air mating surface.

The track was running behind from rain on Saturday so we didn't get to test.
Hopefully we can get another chance soon.
Did notice while on the interstate that when it goes into V4 mode it is a bit louder. I still have the sound tube.
