I do want to reply about the cutting edge technology, I miss my GPS / radio in the Dodge, I am not trying to sell everyone on Dodge. that's not my agenda at all. I am just giving my experience with the brand. I have and still own a lot of different brands Chevy included. I just do not like what I am seeing now with this issue. If you want to say making 797 HP out of a 6.2 is not technology I don't know what is.

Dropped it off Sunday at the dealer I bought it from. We will see what the new fix is this week. I was told it changes day by day. I test drove a ZL1. Maybe they can keep it. Has anyone heard of issues with the 10 speed or the ZL1 in general?

The 10L90 in the ZL1 has only been good news, from what I've seen. The 10L80 in the '19 SS and other models isn't as great for power handling when you start modding. It is the Ford reference design with a GM sticker on it. Check the Mustang forums for why the 10R80/10L80 has its' own issues making it a dog.
If GM offered a buyback for 2SS owners that got them into an '18 ZL1 for 10k more (~16-18% discount on ZL1), I wouldn't think twice and I'd be much happier. The eLSD and 10L90 are what make the ZL1 amazing. I'd probably sell the blower and intercoolers for NA mods. =) |

The point is : They have to put on the market a car already well tested and without this kind of issues!!

Their fix is to deny full powertrain warranty if you have anything done to your car. What they did to my car...pushing Attorney General for consumer warranty fraud and performing illegal actions per the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and the FTC Federal Law

Obviously, the burden of proof falls on them to prove it, but good luck winning the battle of attrition with their lawyers even if it boiled down to that, tit for tat.

Recently bought this car and within a few days noticed the shudder. Took to dealer and the triple flush (TSB 18-NA-355) was performed but I still notice shudder. Dealer says I need to "drive car for 200 miles to complete repair." Isn't this fix supposed to be instant or can it improve over time? If still exists after 200 miles is torque converter next step? Thanks for any info

Took mine back to Jake Sweeney in Cincinnati for the 3rd time. They called to say they are replacing the torque converter and keeping it for another week.

The last time I took it in, they said the torque converter would be next if the shudder came back. |

Got my car back yesterday. I was told that they did not replace the TC because GM has a new fix for this (that we all know about). So, they did the flush and put in the new fluid. Only time and mileage will tell if it's fixed.
