Exactly

The only ones I know using the Whipple 3.0 so far is SVE performance on their Yenko 1100hp cars.

Well... decided on the Whipple 3.0 and a meth kit for my next mod. Put the $$$ down, so now comes the waiting time for the Whipple to arrive. May need to change to a Rotofab CAI as my Cold Air Inductions CAI may not sync up. We will see. Will post results after the tune.

Whipple is still stating 4 weeks for delivery of the 3.0 system (Hasn't changed since August), so it is a waiting game now. I inquired about the 2.9 upgrade as well, and there is still no release date on that upgrade.
While I am waiting on the Whipple, I am addressing some of the weak links on the LT1 (non ZL), so going with forged internals as well from TSP. (pistons, rods, and custom grind cam). Will save me some cash doing this now rather than later.

Lower your compression and upgrade your fueling now if you have any thoughts of pushing the new Whipple.

Already being addressed.. will look at fuel pressures at tune, but will need a new fuel pump and injectors at a min. Keeping boost stock/out of the box at 7-8 psi, and going to run meth as well. Looking for 630-650 rwhp atm. No intention to track/drag the car, but more of a drivable street car.

If you're certain that you are aren't going to push the blower over 7 - 8 psi, why bother with meth? At that boost level and lt4 fueling, you can run at least e60. If you're ABSOLUTELY positive that you're staying at 7 - 8 psi, stick with stock compression also.

Current build is solid at 8 psi with the option to go to 10-12 psi with min change. Meth added to add hp and other benefits if tuned correctly. At stock psi, should easily see 650 with options to 800ish. We will see after build and tuning.

While I wait on parts for this build... am I missing anything? Here is the build list:
Whipple 3.0
Meth Injection
Forged Internals (TSP pistons, rods, cam)
DSX Aux Fuel pump Kit
LT4 HP fuel pump
LT4 injectors
RotoFab Big Gulp CAI

Thanks! ( I got a few questions for the Speed Shop as well that is doing the work and tuning) Spoke to Whipple and the kit comes with an adapter for the stock TB, but I am using the existing Soler Perf 95mm TB I have on the car now which should fit. Also, I see Whipple is now offering standard or race porting and with or without port injection on the 3.0 "LT1/LT4 Hot Rod Whipple". Of course, I found this out after my order.....
