Installing 2019 Vertical Fog/Running lights.

Hi I am new to the forums but I recently bought a pair of Fog/Running lights from Rock Auto. I was curious, before I started taking the wheels off and all that to get to the light mounts, are they just plug and play, or do I have to order the piece that connects the lights to the car, or are they already there? Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Looks like you have a 2019 LT, they don’t have the vertical DRL’s like the 2016-2018. If you’re a trying to fabricate something to work on the 2019 you would need a lot of work as there’s no wiring for that light and not enough space to put it on the bumper.

Tbh I’d just return or sell the lights, the 2016-2018 LT’s deleted them on 1LE packages anyways, best case scenario you get some extra cooling (minimal)

Welcome to the forums!!!

I don't think that's the case. My car has the slots for them to go into and it says they fit a 2019 LS, LT, or ZL1. I appreciate your answer but maybe a second opinion?

Yeah no bueno.
The 2019 front has no spot for vertical LEDs from the 16-18 bumper. Unless you got money or carving skills.

The front clip assembly is completely different from
2016-18 and 2019. There’s nothing interchangeable without serious modifications. If you’re good with custom body work and electrical you can probably do it but it would be a complete custom one-off job. And take time and lots of space.

Yea it’s weird that they have the design similar to the pre refresh which seems like it could fit the DRL’s but from factory they didn’t put them. The parts sites can be misleading many times. These DRL’s you have will fit any 2016-2018 LT and any 2017+ ZL1 only

Did you get those to work? I have a 2021 LT1 RS and assume I can't add them to mine either.
