Update. Muffler installed same as the OP. It is noticeably quieter. Also, it takes the “raspy” out of the exhaust note. When I go to NCM I’ll get a sound check and compare it to the 104-105 I used to hit at WOT out of turn 3. If you want to lower the DB level of your exhaust this works. TP

Any Pic of exhaust from header to the magnaflow? I have a dilemma, I want to tame the noise down like you did as I will not be running converters. I will be running ARH LT into their long exhaust into stock muffler. My concern is I believe the long system has a x in the pipes and the magnaflow has an x. Not sure what that would do to the pulse signals if they both have Xs.

I believe tbe ARH X - pipe is not connected together.

You would install the magnaflow here.

Just got my car back today with this additional muffler as well. MUCH better! Even with high flow cats, resonators and AWE Touring mufflers, it was obnoxiously loud. This tamed it down to where you can hear yourself think, but still good tone under throttle. Thanks again Sakudog!

Not yet.. Waiting for all the parts to arrive still for the build. I'm hoping to get it in the shop by Aug 3rd

No they are straight pipes

Probably just wait until you receive them to order the magnaflow.

This morning I read this on American Racing website about there long exhaust. "Features include our high quality long tubes with primary sizes up to 2", merge style collectors, our 3" X-Pipe and the pipes needed to mate to the factory mufflers"

So, that means using the magnaflow would be 2 X pipes back to back. Not sure that is ideal

So I found another angle the the ARH long system and they are connected to each other.

shame the 02 bungs are so close to the curve otherwise it would be easy to replace that section.
