Eating my words - I now own a 2019

Greetings everyone! Well, I'm here to sing the praises of the 2019 after bad mouthing the looks to everyone and anyone. The day it was revealed, I was beside myself, and it had everything to do with the looks, because I knew the rest of the car was still superior to the competition.
That was until this last Saturday when I drove my 2013 1SS 250 miles to trade it in for this bad boy and in my professional opinion, this is the most modern, sophisticated Camaro ever. Photos really don't do the looks justice, when you're standing in front of it, you quickly realize, this thing screams muscle and that's before you even start the car, but the number of features I'm having to learn is astounding even though I thought I knew all about it.
It's also my first standard I've ever owned, which is amazing to think about since I've been driving 33 years, but it is AWESOME. There's so much I could rave about, but it would really take too long, so I'm really here to congratulate the Camaro team on a supreme sports car that they made even better and to say, I'm sorry for everything I called you guys.

I bought a 2019... because I got a better deal on a newer one then the used 2018 I really wanted. So I changed the bumper. Win win.

The black grill is much more impressive when you see it. Most of the dislike probably stems from poor photos.

The look of the ‘19 is not as bad as some people say it is but everyone is entitled to their opinions! The 2020 definitely looks better to me and the 2019 has grown on me now! Congratulations and enjoy your new Camaro!

That was my thinking exactly about the cost, I went used for my first 2 and saved a lot, but when I was within $100 in the payments, it just made more sense to go new and I don't regret it at all. That 1LE is gorgeous!

Congrats on the newer Camaro. I too came from a 2013. I miss the interior room tho but you are right the 6th gen is more modern, edgy.

One comment on the tail lights. Were you afraid to show us the goggles out back without being lit up, a la GM?

Haha, no. I just haven't taken that many pics yet, they do seem a little boring/bland when they're not lit tho.
I was actually Jonesing for that Hyper blue like yours since the color came out, but the $$$ difference just led me to going new.

I do like the red tail lights on the lower model better than the clear. Not gogglish.

I'm really excited for the 2020 in Rally Green, but the LT grill is too bland. The SS grill is layed out better for lack of sun damage (no flat black plastic to fade).

My payments actually Dropped. I was getting a used for 37k for 72 months. I got a new for 40k because of the new car I got a lower apr and added an extra 1k in down payment. So it was well worth it. That mod in the front... my friend did for 150 bucks at his own shop. Looks way better and its future proof for 2020 and so on.

OP your car look great! I was uncertain about the refresh when i saw the pictures, but in person walking around both 2018's and 2019's of the same color, i found i liked the 2019's better. I've learned not to pay to much attention to the consensus the automotive press has on the looks of a vehicle. I remember when i bought my bmw 1 series, how it seemed every single article or review commented on how the car was ugly. But in person, it looked great! And even now in 2019, i think the 1 series has aged better than the 3 series.
