Door / Front fender alignment issue.

This isn't a rant / angry post. So far I'm loving the car and everything seems to have great fit and finish.

However, I have noticed that the passenger side front fender doesn't seem to be fit quite right. It is sticking out further than the door at the high spot and at the lower sill the fender is sucked in more than the drivers side.

I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion on how to fix it. Is it a door alignment issue? Possible fastener or bolt not properly seated on the fender?

Passenger photo should be first and the drivers side second for comparison. (And, yes my car is filthy already. Trying to put miles on it and it has been raining constantly here.)

Thanks for any help or suggestions.
Ian

The exact same thing happens on the vette, most eliminated the problem with door hinge adjustment.

I looked at a red hot and the alignment was perfect. Take it back to the dealer, that's pretty bad

My alignment on both doors is perfect, looks like some isolated occurances.

Door / Front fender alignment issue.

Did OP get this fixed? How?

I just noticed same issue...for me it's on driver side, the lower part of door doesn't match even with the front fender, in the triangle area, pics:

Passenger side is perfect:

Your car was lifted wrong at some point and time to the above poster, you just didn't realize it at the time. The same thing happened to me and I didn't realize it for 1.5 months later.

How can it be corrected?

Typical GM quality build. I have the issue with the rear bumper.

Looks like it may have been jacked or positioned on a lift wrong.
