Oil Pressure Consensus after supercharging your car

I asked a couple people here about their thoughts on the oil pressure they are running after changing to forged internals and supercharging their car.
My question or instance... my oil pressure (from the dumb gauge) usually read about 30-40 PSI in stock form and didn't vary much after warm up.
After installing forged internals and the Whipple, I noticed my oil pressure at 60-70 PSI (cold at start up) and 50-60 PSI after warm up. I am currently running 0-40 Mobil oil after doing the oil change from the break in oil.
I asked my tuner as I was concerned, and he stated that it was normal as I had new bearing and pistons with tighter tolerances, and it will come down some in time, but the oil pressure is good.
So... am I concerned for nothing? the car has less than 2000 miles on it, so I assume the oil sender is fine, and it seems to read correctly.
Any thoughts here?

35 on startup, 62 just after the gear shift at peak rpm

The solenoid on your oil pump is disconnected. It is running in high pressure mode all the time. I rebuilt my engine with .001 looser rod bearings and have had some issues with low oil pressure at high rpm. I'm also feeding two turbos. I disconnected my solenoid and oil pressure shot up at low rpm like yours is. I hooked it back up and 37-38 cold start down to 31 hot idle with vr1 oil.

Solenoid is plugged in.. not the issue. Stopped by the shop and they looked at it as well. It was running 50-60 PSI when warmed up. Owner stated that his C7 (1200rwhp) runs 60 PSI as well when warmed up. I am going to video the oil pressure when cold and start up for the Tuner again, so he can see it first hand.

Also on forged internals for ~8000 miles, oil pressure on mine is around 40 psi on cold starts, goes down to 32-33 once warmed up and cruising, mid-40s under intermediate load and maybe 65-70 at WOT (I don't stare at the gauge cluster at WOT, so it's approximate). I don't see how your much higher oil pressures would be desirable.

It could be disconnected at the solenoid in the pan. I know of builders that prefer to leave it disconnected and in high pressure mode all the time. If the builders personal engine runs the same way I would say its something they're doing. Atleast for it to be that different than the majority of the gen v lt platform. The only negative i've heard about running it this way is that it heats the oil up faster and can create more wear so to speak as the pump is working harder all the time. The tune is probably going to take some playing in the idle torque area to get it happy with the extra load on it. Otherwise I don't think you're really hurting anything running it like that.

Sure you didn't get an upgraded oil pump when you forged the internals?

Nope... stock oil pump (but a upgrade may be in my future if this one fails)

Mine with forged internal is about the same as everyone's. mid 40s normal driving and jumps to 60 or so at WOT.
