Welcome to the club!
I was also a '19 SS hater when it was first announced; once I saw it in person, everything changed; its just mean looking, the pre refresh now looks so tame to me (I still love that design too though)

S-type isn't loud at all. It just sounds awesome. Cabin is still quiet.

Don't worry. We ALL say we're not going to mod or change anything. And we all do eventually...
The stock exhaust is plenty loud for me, actually a little too loud, but not too much that I'd change it. Kinda wished it had the dual mode, but still sounds plenty mean.
I've already done a project, a 94 Yukon 2 door I got in 96. I converted it to TPI, cat-back exhaust, and about $6k in audio. So I decided once I moved on from it that I would get something I didn't have to modify, hence the main reason I love this car, it is smokin hot entirely OEM.
FWIW, this is also, hands down, the best factory audio system I have ever heard.

Thanks! Yours looks real mean! I agree about the 16-18 looks too.

That's the first time I've ever heard someone say that. You must have really good hearing.

it's plenty loud. Only thing i might ever do is an axle back that gives a deeper tone.

Ya I couldn’t hear the exhaust at all. Stock SS without NPP.
But I have a convertible and run with top down mostly.
I swapped in the magnaflow axle back. Sounds great - now I can finally hear the motor. With stock exhaust I never heard it - not even a little bit.
Magnaflow may be a bit loud for a coupe but it’s pretty mellow and seems a perfect fit for a convertible driven top down most of the time.

Um, you have a 1LE, which means you already have the NPP exhaust....so doesn't apply to you.

Well, I got an ear for noises so I hear everything including the pops in the muffler that they think everybody wants. Both my previous 5th gens were stock and more quiet, I like that, it helps me sneak up and pass people before they know what happened.

I saw a 2019 SS 1LE in Shock and fell in love with Camaro again.

Nom v8s look good for 2019. SS for me would have to have 1LE package.
