Looking for advice on LT headers.

Looking to purchase LT headers with cats. Currently have Borla SType axle back exhaust installed. What set up would you recommend I go with?

How much do you want to spend? Are you doing the install yourself?

Stainless Works are very nice but you pay for that in the price.
Kooks has a setup with the high flow cats. Not bad for the price.
Texas Speed headers are one of the cheapest sets available. But some members have reported issues with the install.

There are too many options to list.

I did Kooks LTs with catted connection pipes mated up to Borla 60606 and ATAK. 60606 had to be cut to fit the LTs but very straightforward.

Have not really set a price but I don’t want cheapest but I do want quality. Looking to have someone install and tune. I have been leaning towards Kooks.

American Racing Headers always has the best quality, fit and finish you can buy. Not the cheapest though.

following this thread because I am looking for HP and Torque gains and this may be a good first step. We must do emission testing here (Phoenix, AZ area) which means pass the gas testing, plus visual inspection that cats are in place. I would not want to pay $1500 for LT headers with cats and then fail emissons test due to an exhaust related failure.

Remember to figure in cost of a tune to let the headers work properly on your car.

Then there is the whole factory warrantee issue. If you have your car tuned it will show up right away when the dealer connects his diagnostic machine to your car. If the issue is anything related to engine failure he can say that you voided your warantee with a non stock tune. Just be aware. You can fight this, but it will likely get ugly. My car only has 3400 miles and with all the computer stuff on the Gen 6 Camaro I bought the extended warrantee. I sure don't want to piss that all away for more noise and maybe 30HP.

I have the ARH catless 1 7/8 headers on my Camaro. They are super nice and the quality is second to none.

Can you post a clip of how this sounds?
I’m debating ARH full system vs. what you did for the cost savings
