Well called Phastek to see if I changed it to the Atak from the S-type would I go back to the bottom of the wait list. They said yes so I'll just leave it. They are listed on their website as currently unavailable. I don't like that they told me twice dates it would ship on only to see them come and go, but i get its not their fault. So we wait.......

So got an e-mail from Phasetek today... they contacted Borla and said the new ship date will by 9/29...

(so ordered 5/15 -waited the full six weeks listed in the shipping times on the website, e-mailed them and they said it would be another 6 weeks.., emailed after another 6 weeks and they told be it would ship 8/14.. that didn't happen so i called back and they told me it would ship 8/28... it didn't and today i got an email saying new ship date 9/29)..

My order is for 11920CFBA.. just two mufflers without npp valves... You can't tell me Borla is that far behind on orders... something else is going on over there...

Huh, I ordered on 6/28 and I got an email saying it was now going to ship on 9/11. I'm not holding my breath

yeah, kinda crazy. Either the demand is so high they can't keep up or there is something wrong with the manufacturing process/supplier. I may do the same and get my $1200 back.

I would be happy if a Borla rep would just tell us a good reason why we have to wait 4.5 months (ordered 5/15 and "proposed" ship date 9/29, ill believe that when i see it).. It would be better than not knowing.. if they told me we are hard at work on our AFM problem or our NPP rattle problem that would suffice, but then again my order doesn't have NPP or AFM valve in it.. so its just two mufflers and i thin piece of CF around the tip.

Borla has lost a lot of credibility with me in regards to recent issues and I've been buying their stuff for years. Focusing more on $$$ vs. your customer is never good. Its pretty obvious they are either releasing parts not yet ready for the consumer (valved items) or selling 'ghost' items.

Well i called Phastek and cancelled my order as well. If and when they are ready to ship, i'll order them again in the future. And since I've wanted them and since it was basically an even swap, i ordered the MRR 1LE rims in gloss black!

Now i just have to order some tires and get them on and I'll have my factory rims and tires as a back up....only 3200 miles in a year and I haven't even smoked them once ! LOL
