Great. Another restriction to mods. I love the car but to the modder, it has its hurdles. It's almost best to plan out your entire undercarriage mod list, gut it, and do it all at once.

That's actually for the aerodynamics of the car. David Leone explains this when talking about the CTS V-sport. The camaro is hardly a Chevy. It's more of a re skinned CTS in a coupe version. I'm not referring to the asthetics, more so the bones of the car, and the same level of engineering it went into it.

I think the way the exhaust is designed, it would be a bad idea to go with an aftermarket cat-back or axle-back exhaust. The muffler itself is also an integral part of the aerodynamic package too.

Interesting. I wonder if that is the greater good over the weight gain when using tubular aftermarket pieces.

The rear control arms are still traditional aluminum. It just has a plastic cover for better aero.

I was under my car today and noticed Chevy made a design change to the exhaust from an H-pipe in the pic to an X-pipe
