Stock LT Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Seasons in the Winter?

After plenty of research on here about wheels, I picked up some stock 18" 2016 LT take offs locally for my 1LE SS that's on order. As an added bonus, they had like new stock Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Seasons on them. I just plasti-dipped them black last weekend and they look great. The guy I bought them from said he had no problem with them in the winter, but I'm well aware of the benefits of dedicated winter tires. I have an old '02 Trailblazer that I'll be driving whenever there is more than an inch or so of snow here in Metro Detroit.

I'm looking for some feedback for those that have run the Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Seasons in winter. How bad are they?

The game-plan for now is to see how it goes this winter then maybe do some dedicated winter tires on those wheels this time next year.

Probably OK when dry / wet w no snow. I wouldn't through them away, run them until they are gone and then fit proper snows.. or if you can find someone who wants/needs A/S.. sell em n get proper snows.

That's what I figured. The hassle of selling them, buying new winters, mounting/balancing (then having to re-plasti dip) doesn't seem worth it.

I’ve had no issues at all, no matter how bad the weather has been. I’ve never had a car with winter tires but it does as well as anything else I’ve driven all seasons with. When I get open space and slick roads I mess around to test the car/road conditions and all I can say is that the stability and traction controls work great. Once these wear out I’ll make the stick wheels my dedicated winter set and get some winter tires but until then these are sufficient
