Here is my guess..... The big reveal will be on April 1st...then
April Fools!!! Does anyone truly care about this product at this point?? Most people feel that CAI are a waste of money and the ones that don't say only to go with Roto Fab...then when you ask them why and for proof of why it's the best the responses get very shaky at best. In other words... I jumped at the RF bandwagon because everyone else said it's best so it must be right?? |

I feel that the Vararm setup will be within error percentage of the Rotofab, an all those who waited will be happy with the results, but wish they'd just picked up the Rotofab and moved onto the next mod sooner. The next improvement in the air intake system is going to be the ram air grill mod that is being talked about in another thread and PrayPerformance shows a tease of what he is working on.

Guys, seriously, let this thread die. No more posts until Vararam has a product released. At this point they either go away entirely, or they give us something to purchase.

Regular Updates as Promised:
Independent Flow comparisons are complete! (Quick snap-shot version) Test conditions: D/A = 105.27% Test equipment: Superflow 600 Flowbench To give our competition the best chance and the highest flow numbers possible, we removed the MAF sensor for this particular flow test. (We blocked off the MAF hole) Keep in mind, They are completely unshrouded by "NOT" having the fender, hood, headlight assembly etc.. in the way to block flow during a flow bench test. You couldn’t ask for a better day to test either. In other words, if they were going to show us what they could do, now was the time! (the flow numbers) Out of all of our competitor’s systems that we tested, the Best number we saw on this day was 294CFM@1.5inches of water on a 5inch system. That’s not very impressive considering the test D/A (Density Altitude) of over 105% and the MAF meter was not in place. On a typical Hot/warm day you could expect to see something in the 280 CFM range. In a Hot engine compartment, heat soaked up and blocked ,it would be lower. The Lowest number we saw from the VR systems came from the unit we dyno tested in the last video. It generated 328CFM@1.5inches of water with the MAF sensor “IN PLACE”. That’s a huge difference at only 1.5 inches of depression. That’s not even the strongest version of the system. (This will all be on the web page in image and video format for you during release) NEXT UPDATE: Dyno comparisons on "stock" (No custom tuning) and Modified cars. We already have all of the on road data from LT-1’s and LT-4’s . That's the data that really counts, where the rubber meets the road! No codes covering almost 12,000 miles of testing. When we hit 12,000 miles, we turn it loose! (almost there) Just keeping the forum members up to date. VR tech |
