ZL1/1LE: OK to drive to track with 15w-50?

Planning on tracking my ZL1/1LE for the first time this Sunday at Auto Club Speedway road course. It is about 110 miles to the track from my home. Is it OK to change to 15w-50 track oil at home before making the commute or should I plan on changing the oil at the track? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I drive to the track and around town with 15W50. Just let the oil warm up before you put your foot into it.

My M3 had a lot lower redline when it was cold. It only used Castrol 10w-60. The motor sounded like it was coming apart when you first started it.

I'm 50 miles from ACS and drive there with 15W-50. You won't have any issues.
