For a Coyote to get to those power levels and do it safely and to have all the supporting mods to use that power effectively would mean modding the entire car. AT that point, unless you bought a base model for dirt cheap, you'll be spending ZL1 money anyway. And plenty of SS guys are well into the 10s, 9s, and even faster and pushing over 1000 RWHP. It isn't just Mustangs doing it. They just like to brag about it more than anyone else because it makes them look better. But I do find it funny when all the Mustang guys talk about how easy it is to build this and that but then you ask them how much they paid for it all and find out they spent $15K-$25K. Or you see a shop advertising how they can get you to 900 RWHP and you call them to find out the cost is gonna be around $15K, lol!!
This exactly - and FTR Lingenfelter has a stock bottom end LT4 making 1500hp on the engine dyno.

Yes you can boost a Coyote to make good power, you can do the same with an LS3, and almost as much with an LT1. The LT4 is another big step altogether...

And that's the point, it's how much you're willing to spend to do it right. Sure, the gen 3 might be cheaper to mod half-assed, but it doesn't pose a problem for the Lt4 or Lt1.

Too much brand loyalty here once more. Yes you can get a base A10 5.0 (better performer vs any ss except Zl1 stock vs stock in straight line racing) and add f.i and pretty much blow the doors off of us. Now whoever has the deeper pockets wins. Why would someone compare a base 5.0 to a fkn Zl1 lmfao?

No. It's NOT "too much brand loyalty" over here. Maybe you're on the wrong site. There is nothing wrong with someone being brand loyal. At least we're here and not over on that dumbass M6G site...like they seem to love coming over here. And for the record, ever since the 18 GT came out, the Mustang guys have been the ones trying to compare it to the ZL1 and Hellcat. It in no way comes even close to either of those cars. Not by a long shot. Most of us here laugh at it. The GT is SS and SRT competition IF that and at best. You got a problem with the comparison, blame it on the GT guys who think they can bang out with us.

This, and the S550 is heavier and doesn't handle as well as the 6th gen.

He's being mocked for stating something that has been known for years now and saying it as if it was a new, hot take.

And adding FI to a Coyote, LS3 or LT1 is somehow more current?

Bwahaha, keep mocking, it only shows the lack of intelligent response to the fact that the S550 is still playing catch up to the 6th gen.

Well actually if you were current you would have noticed the mustang gt pp2 beat the ss 1le in the car and driver lightning lap that was posted today.

Ford knocked the drivetrain out of the park with the 2018/coyote/a10.

In 2017 it was just good, now it’s great

So yeah the new for 2018 straight line performance of the stang is current
