I have 6th gen 18" rims with winter tires that I picked up barely used... and they do fit over the big front calipers without touching. I tried them out just to be sure.

I believe any 5th or 6th gen wheel will work on our hubs.

Do they fit without spacers as well?

I would think so. My spacers are pretty thin. There was about 1/4" space between the rim and the edge of the caliper.

Any chance you could test for sure? It's hard to return stuff from ebay.

No, not until time to put the winter tires on... unless you want to wait until November.

OK man, why do we always end up on the same forums?

Looking to pickup an SS1LE soon here... happy to see that the appear to be decent DD's.

Here's an idea. Instead of spending money on all that, buy a daily driver beater or at least a winter beater. You can get a decent DD for a couple grand.

I've done that before.
