Best budget radar detector
Anybody has experience with a decent price of a radar detector

Hmmm that sounds like a bad idea... Best "budget" radar detector. Seems if you you wanted to get something like that, you'd just want the best one. Maybe that's just me.

Uniden R4. I have it in one car and a Redline (high-$) in my Camaro. Would buy the R4 again for sure, and it's smaller, lighter and cheaper too.

I have the same Max 360C detector, is your cam built in or separate? how is the video playback?

Uniden R7. I have had radar detectors since the beginning and always use old original Escort and Valentine. I dropped Valentine since they don't have built in GPS which is important to me. The R7 has GPS and arrows. It does every thing I need and the V1 was in the garage cabinet, but put it into the Wrangler just because.
Agree with just go to the www.vortexradar.com website and check out what is important to you and the best buys.

I run both an R7(international version) and V1G2 with an ALP (Lazer jammer) system.
The integration between JBV1 and the V1G2 blows the R7 out of the water. +1on Vortex radar. Also the RDF forum if you want inside scoops.
