Thanks for the feedback - I've done a couple of track days using Sport 1 and the Street alignment settings (Ive been wearing the outer edges of the tires). I think I will move to the track alignment for the next few events while keeping it in Sport 1. Once I am comfortable with all this extra power (The evo only has 280) I will try Sport 2. Thanks!

Thinking about doing track setup myself then take to an alignment shop to be sure.
In most cases the factory alignment has been found to be significantly off spec. As was the case with my ZL1.

This is a big heavy very fast car. I went from a Z51 modded vette to my A10 and worked my way up to race over about 4 different track days. Even in Race mode you will have a small amount of intervention with the traction control when you matt it coming out of corners. You will dig your new ride!

I've only been to one event thus far. Knowing that I wasn't going to be carrying much speed through corners I kept the car in the street alignment settings I had done a week before the event. As others have said the factory alignment was VERY off. Over a degree of thrust angle in the rear which indicates it was pretty bad.

As it was my very first HPDE I spent the day in Track/PTM Sport 1 to allow the nannies to keep me safe. I will likely do the same with my next day as well as the throttle smoothing really helps keep things under control on corner exit.

I will likely utilize a race alignment on my next track day as by the end of the day I was carrying some decent speed through the turns at near-max grip. Keep in mind that if you are not very near max cornering speeds the benefits of the additional camber will not be realized and you will just encounter excessive tire wear. You really need to work the car to get the most out of all that camber.

I just got back from getting the track alignment. Couple takeaways from my tech: 1) If you ride the curbs you will be getting frequent alignments as this messes with toe relatively easily. 2) If you want to switch back and forth from track to street to change camber but retain toe and caster, loosen the tie rod first to prevent a change in toe.

I run full Track alignment via GM's supplement like stated above. Track mode --->Race setting or with everything off. So far fastest times have been set with it on Track ---->Race. The last track day it was 100 degrees and the rears where just too damn greasy.

for tire pressure I start low around 25 as I feel the 3r's don't like above 3132lbs but that's just me and what I've noticed on the tracks by me(Buttonwillow & WSIR). I'm waiting for some cooler weather before heading back out.
