Removing rear view mirror

I found a thread on how to remove the rear view mirror but it doesn’t say how to take the cover off, just says “with correct tool remove cover”. Anyone know how to get the cover off? I was prying a little around the edges but it didn’t come loose and I don’t want to break anything.

Thanks

You have to square cover off the back of the mirror mount, stick a screw driver through the two bottom holes and rotate counter clockwise

Except mine has NO holes. It just a mount from the headliner with the mirror attached to it.
