Just because they start building at the plant in March doesn't mean we'll see any on the road immediately. Like the above poster said, if they start STAMPING in March, it would be a while before a finished car is produced.
Even after they've done some stamping, building the pilot cars is a long process.

I worked at the St. Louis North Ram assembly plant back in the 2007-2009 timeframe.
I remember seeing the current Ram (launched in 2009), in various states of assembly scattered in the plant. Some off the line, a few sitting on spurs of the regular lines.
They were there for months. And none of them saw the light of day.

Point is, just because they start building in March, that doesn't mean we'll see uncamo'ed cars on the street in March.

On TFL's website, it says Chevy today at 10:00, showing the Equinox, Commemorative Edition, and Special Silverado. But they also have 11:00 tomorrow, and the car says TBD.

The model they show at the auto show will not be built in Lansing. It will be a prototype assembled at the Tech Center, with all the other integration vehicles that we've seen running around already. When they say Lansing is beginning pre-production (if true) it means they're starting to tool up the plant to add production (a process much more complicated then people realize) not that they're pumping out the vehicles from the plant already.

I hope the camaro announcement is more upscale than what I just watched. That was a dreadful presentation.

We just found out what the Equinox looks like.. Not hard to believe they're just hiding the Camaro well.
