I'm at about 11-12 lbs with 80mm pulley. I plan to run 15 lbs next year at the track once I get the LT4 injectors installed and that will be with 70 or 75 mm pulley. I still consider 15 lbs safe as long as the fuel and correct timing is there. It should allow me to run 9.80's in the spring on stock block and heads. Don't think we will see and Lt4 running 9's very soon. I'm even considering spraying 100 shot to run some low 9s after I get my cage in this winter.

Are your engine internals all stock? If so that’s pretty impressive. Seems to me the LT1 can handle a lot as long as the tune is right.

It is a totally stock Lt1, stock exhaust w/NPP, stock tranny, converter, stock axles, driveshaft, stock interior at full weight.

Yes I had an issue with my car. I collapsed a AFM lifter! I don't believe this was related to the install of the Maggie at all! However the LOW RWHP number is due to tuning. My car would not perform under WOT runs. The throttle was constantly opening and closing creating what felt like a misfire. I contacted Magnuson. They sent me a new tune which helped a little but the throttle was still not operating properly. I thought the issue was too much fuel or a timing issue creating it to misfire on the top end but I was wrong. Come to find out the throttle was opening and closing, as I previously mentioned, giving the feeling that it was missing. Now the car is tuned properly by a Magnuson sponsered shop and I have zero issues. My friend's stock M6 LT1 made 382 RWHP on this dyno... Mine made 508 RWHP and 491 RWTRQ so not a bad increase! Everything else is stock. I know Magnuson claims 550 RWHP but I've also seen videos of "stock M6 LT1s" making 415 RWHP whereas my friend only made 382 so the dyno is calibrated different.

I love my Maggie and Magnuson has been great. They would've kept working with me on my tuning issues but I just wanted a reputable tuner to tune my car. Magnuson rocks

A custom tune is the best way to go if you want the max power from your combination though...
Yes I did. You actually helped me out regarding my tune concern and sent me my new water pump ASAP. I am sold on Magnuson just felt like after having some issues with my tune a dyno tune was the way to go. I had Accelerated Racing Solutions tune it. Great people. I know they do A LOT of work with Maggie powered cars.

Exactly
