Exclamation LT1 Engine Issue

Can anyone report if they are experiencing any issues with newer LT1 engines? I am reading stores about people having issues with their engines and lifters going bad.....

There was a batch of bad valve springs for cars built around June 2020-Oct 2020, not sure the exact dates. Many threads about that on here...

Yeah, I had the valve-spring go on mine at 255 miles. Someone else had one go at 85 miles. I'm no engineer but those things get over 1,000 cycles a min so if you had an issue it would happen early and under warranty.

LT1 6.2 short block is used in many vehicles including Trucks, SUV' etc in addition to our Camaros and Corvettes. Other than the above mentioned valvespring issue in a few it has been a pretty stalwart engine.

The same cam, lifters, etc is used in all these.
